Tree Selections
We offer a wide selection of trees, from Southern to Pacific Northwest.
Red Oak
- Fast-growing - over 2 feet per year for the first 10 years
- Brilliant fall color from russet-red to bright red
- Easier to transplant than most trees4–8" waxy leaves with 7–11 spine-tipped lobes
- Pale yellow-green catkins appear April–May with new foliage
- Produces ¾–1" round acorns with thick, saucer-like caps
- Dense, rounded crown provides excellent shade
- Tolerates pollution and compacted soil
Cedar Elm
- Grows up to 75 feet tall
- Straight trunk reaches 2–3 feet in diameter
- Features strong, sturdy branches
- Develops a narrow, oblong crown
Lacebark
- Hardy tree that handles adverse conditions well
- More disease-resistant than many other elms
- Distinctive mottled bark with brown, gray, green, and orange tones
- Glossy green, serrated leaves grow ¾–2" long
- Fall color ranges from yellow to purple
- Produces small, oval brown fruit up to ½" long
- Grows in a rounded shape
Bur Oak
- Provides dense shade with a rounded shape
- Tolerates pollution and heat stress
- Large 6–12" leaves with 5–9 deep lobes
- Produces large acorns with distinctive fringed caps
- Can live 200–300+ years
- Also known as the Mossycup Oak
- Difficult to transplant
Bald Cypress
- Deciduous conifer with a pyramidal shape
- Short, paired needles change from yellow-green to soft green, then reddish-brown in fall
- Produces 1" round cones with triangular seeds that attract wildlife
- Adapts well to both wet and dry conditions
- Develops distinctive “cypress knees” in wet conditions
Desert Willow
- Small tree growing up to 25 feet tall
- Trunk can reach up to 12" in diameter
- Features curved, irregular branching
- Open, airy crown gives it a light appearance
Austrian Pine
- Very hardy and ideal for windbreaks
- Tolerates poor soil conditions and air pollution
- Dark green, 3–6" needles create a dense crown
- Needles grow in pairs and last 4–8 years
- Produces 2–4" oval, light brown cones with small prickles
- Also known as the European Black Pine
- Grows in an oval shape
Blue Atlas Cedar
- Large, showy evergreen in the pine family
- Steely blue needles get their color from a natural waxy coating
- Popular as a standout specimen tree
- Open, irregular pyramidal shape from top to bottom
- Lower branches can spread about half the tree’s height
- Best with plenty of space and minimal pruning
- Glauca refers to its distinctive blue needles
